What Is the Earth Element?

Earth 土 (Tǔ) is the energy of stability, nourishment, and grounding. Earth is the center — it does not rush, it holds. It is the force of late summer, the pause between seasons, the ground on which everything else grows. Earth is reliability, patience, and the kind of strength that does not announce itself.
