The Element Snapshot is the front page of the chart. The full report is the document behind it — the Ten Gods pattern, the ten-year luck cycles, the annual layers and the life-area readings, laid out in a fixed order you can revisit.
A one-page summary: the chart, the Day Master, the dominant and deficient phases, and the headline structural finding. Read it first, and again at the end.
What your specific stem signifies in the classical texts — its element, polarity, season of strength, and the temperament traditionally attributed to it.
The structurally most important chapter. Ten relationships any character can bear to your Day Master — what you attract, produce, are supported by, and are constrained by.
Charts are not static. Ten-year cycles shift the balance as life proceeds. This chapter maps yours from birth and says which decades are supported.
They answer different questions. The snapshot tells you what your chart is made of: the four pillars, the element counts, your Day Master, and which phases help or hinder. The report tells you what that structure does over time. Reading the report without the snapshot is like reading a diagnosis without the test results.
How Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water distribute across your eight characters, and what each concentration implies. This is where the practical consequence of an uneven chart becomes concrete: a chart with three phases represented and two absent behaves differently from one spread evenly across all five.
Career and vocation, wealth and resources, relationships and partnership, family and household, and health and energy. Each is read from the specific pillars and structures that traditionally govern it — the spouse palace for relationships, the wealth star for resources — rather than from the general tone of the chart. Where the chart is silent on a life area, the text says so.
On top of the ten-year cycle, each calendar year contributes its own stem and branch. This layer explains why two years inside the same luck cycle can feel so different. We present it as a rhythm to be aware of, not a schedule of events.
A visual summary: four dimensions scored year by year to eighty, plotted as curves. It is the fastest way to see the shape of a life in this system. Read it after the Da Yun chapter, not before — the curve is a picture of that chapter, and on its own it invites over-reading.
The PDF carries the chart, the element bars, the life curve and the chapter text laid out for print, and is generated in your browser — the same privacy rule as everywhere else on this site applies. The closing chapter states plainly what the reading does not claim: charts describe tendency and structure, they do not schedule events, and they cannot predict what a person will choose to do inside the conditions they describe.
Yes. The full report and the PDF export are free, as is the Element Snapshot. There is no checkout anywhere on the site.
Seconds. The whole calculation runs in your browser, so there is no queue and no waiting on a server.
Yes — keep multiple profiles in the hub and switch between them. Each generates its own report.
The report still generates on the three known pillars and marks the hour-dependent sections as provisional. The Day Master and element distribution stay meaningful; the spouse-palace reading is affected most.
Because that would be a claim we cannot support. The Da Yun and annual chapters describe the character of a period in the system's terms. Converting that into "you will get a promotion in March" is not the tradition's claim, and we do not manufacture it.
Any reading can fail to describe a person. The calculation is deterministic and follows the classical rules; the interpretation is a tradition's interpretation, not a measurement. See the methodology page.
